I’m looking to get a degree part time or online. I currently hold a B.F.A in Film and Television and my plan was always to get an MBA after that. I live in the Atlanta area and work for an entertainment finance start up (based out of LA). The skill set that would most benefit my career is law as contracts are my day-to-day. I am wondering if it’s worth getting the MBA or JD at a non-target school like Georgia State or seeking the newer Juris Masters (JM) program at Emory Law. Significantly shorter 9-18/mo part time but doesn’t allow me to practice law (which is fine as I don’t want to practice, just bolster my business affairs capabilities. What do you all think?

Mba from not too school is a waste of time and money
That was what I was thinking as well, law seems more valuable in entertainment.
