Seeking guidance to strive in the field of data science

So my sister completed her masters in CS this year from Concordia University, Montreal. She’s really interested in datascience and ML field. She interned as an ML engineer at Paper Co. and is now working full time at Synechron as an AI/ML junior associate. She is really passionate about datascience and ML/AI fields and wants to succeed in this career path. Her current TC is 50k cad, I wanted to ask Blind for some advice one how she can strive in this field. Any job openings to apply? Any necessary/good to have skills before applying?
