Selecting teams in AWS
Anyone familiar with the AWS FSx group and/or the AWS Data Exchange team, from any perspective? HR provided these two options and I am considering which one to choose. Thanks in advance!
Data Exchange team has had a good roadmap.. they are trying to grow aggressively

AWS data exchange would be a good start to get your hands on AWS. They are no way near core AWS services like s3, Ddb or whatever. They provide platform to buy/sell datasets. Seller can upload large sensitive datasets and buyers can buy them. Tech is okayyy. Moderate traffic and bunch of smart people. Good team to start Amazon career. Later you can move to challenging teams.
Thanks for the comments, and any idea on how is the wlb for the Data Exchange team?
It will be bad on 90% of teams in amazon. Tell your family you can’t see them for a year after you join. If you’ve kids give them the last hugs. In data exchange there is a chance of WLB improving after 9 months
if any team in aws has good wlb, sdm will be fired and reorg will happen. been there, seen that

both have heavy pip
My understanding is, company wise, Amazon has heavy pip, but do you mean these two teams are even heavier? Is your statement base on some data points particular to these two teams?
