I have around $200k in vested stock in FB. $FB was down so I was holding, but it’s on the rise and I’m thinking if I should cash out. Suggestions on how to do so? Should I dollar cost average? On what frequency, daily of weekly?
Sorry, forgot to add the last option. “Wait for earnings tomorrow and see what happens”.
What if it crashes tomorrow?
Yea, wait for earnings. Sell some at 188. Sell a lot if it passes 200 again in the long term.
Sell all and reinvest it into etfs.
Triple leveraged oil ETF
Put it all on FDs and Lyft put options
Can't cuck the zucc
You can put a sell order at a bit below current price
YOE? That's a lot of stock.

Always diversify.
Do a lot of you guys hold on to company stock? I always sell right away and re-invest it in index funds. Maybe I'm just too paranoid. My career started right before the 2008 crash. I saw how fast companies could fall. Just look at Enron and some of the big banks. I'm curious what others do.
That’s a good idea. It’s probably too risky to hold and it may all vanish one day.
RSU + SPP instant sell and diversify to VG VTSAX ... your income / career are already tied to your employer, typically not wise to pin your investments to it as well. Literally the definition of all eggs in one basket.
You missed: D) It was stupid to hold
Sell half at current price. For the other half place a bracket order: trailing stop limit for 1-5% below current price, limit sell order +5-10% current price. Adjust parameters to suite your risk tolerance. You’re welcome.
Do these expire everyday? not too familiar with limit orders
Use Good til Cancelled
