buddy of mine got hired last year with 100k RSU over 3 years so this is way low. His base was a little lower though. But the stock has also tripled since he got his offer, this has to be stocks per year otherwise it's seriously messed up. Mind if I DM about the process?

Does Shopify hire interns as L5? I'm seeing some posts and that makes me think how can intern be hired as an L5. Also, does Shopify allows negotiation. There's this one post where the guy tried negotiating for few days but no success. @Shopify please help here.

This seems like Shopify's L5 offer with a bit higher base comp. Are you being considered for an L5 position at Shopify? Keep in mind level systems are different everywhere. L4 at Shopify is considered new grad.
What's the typical range for L6 and L7 btw
Are RSUs annual?
I think it's a 3 year vesting.
