Protip: Get the name of the company correct first.
They are not leetcodey, focus on proper programming practices. Don’t jump straight into the problem. You’ll do fine
Explain solution before writing any code. Save time for writing tests. Bonus points if you can actually run unit tests.
I would suggest to write tests first or at least as you go. Don't leave the tests for last.
We really love Test Driven Development. So even going the route of writing out test cases before writing the function is great. Explaining decisions behind data structures, inputs, input checking, etc are all good signals they are looking for
Yeah, we love all the good ideas during the interviews. Once you get here, you’ll see shit code and shit patterns applied all over the place.
