Which tech stack can be learned within a month and jobs are typically available for such profile? For Example: 1. HTML + CSS + Java Script to find a job as a front end developer. 2. SQL + PL/SQL to find a job as a PL/SQL developer. 3. Manual and Automation Testing. Similarly what else do you think is considerable? Target Time: practically possible to learn within a month and Job Profiles are typically available.
Golang. It was designed to have a small surface area and simple syntax. Writing idiomatic good go code takes a long time though.
Assuming you’re talking about starting from no knowledge of tech stuff, and attaining a level of proficiency in 1 month. If such a tech does exist, it’s going to be a lower paying job and/or more competition. And it won’t be at the big companies you’ve tagged. Think of it like this: Customer service can be taught to a reasonable level of proficiency in 1 month of onboarding. If you want big companies to invest highly in your skills, those skills need to be differentiated by the amount of time and experience you have. Shortcuts are unlikely to work here.
That’s true, it’ll be lower pay job and high competition but practically possible. I tagged these companies because these are more techie guys and can advise accordingly. Also, with free version, I can tag max 3 companies. I beed to find job within 30 days as I have been notified by HR to leave the company.
Why not do what you have been doing then? It seems complicated to also try to ramp up in a new skill while also looking for jobs in that space
Starting from scratch you’d be better off getting a certification in a company specific technology - AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, Google. Some offer job placements. Search job listings to see which are in most demand
Why did you tag Meta and Google here :) Neither of the companies care about what languages you know.
May be I should not have tagged them - my apologies. Just looking for advise from them as they are good in tech stuff.
Well if that's the case, please learn algorithms, it doesn't matter which language. It is not a 1 month process, but you can pull it off, good for you!
MEAN stack
If youre this lazy then SWEs not the job for you.
I’m not lazy, I just don’t have time. I just have max 30 days. Actually, short period of time brings up pressure and we put in more effort. It’s opposite of laziness.
Are you starting from scratch or do you have previous development experience?
I have some developments experience. I have a technical background and around 15 years ago used to write code in C, C++, Python, Java, SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle APEX. I stopped coding When I switched my career into ERP and become fully functional consultant. Just need a refresher.
