Brother beaten severely as a kid. Doesn’t speak to dad at all now.
Boss is chill and I am happy with my TC but companies keep reaching out to me after I put Apple on my LinkedIn. Should I interview anyway? Tc 400k
You should always be willing to interview and see what else is out there. Doesn’t mean you have to leave your current position if you like it.
Which companies
You can keep interviewing and this way your DSA skills will be better. And when you really need to change, you’d not have to start from scratch.
It’s worth interviewing annually just to make sure you keep on top of what your worth in the market is and keep your skills sharp
If you enjoy grinding rather than enjoying time with friends/family/dating/hobbies/travels/etc, or if you don't have any of the latter, then sure.
Just stay
I think it’s always worth taking 1-2 interviews a year. Keep your interviewing skills sharp and you never know, one of those teams may actually be doing more interesting work, or otherwise offering you something that is currently missing (even if you don’t realize it’s missing yet). It could be a good thing. You don’t have to take the job, but I think interviewing frequently is important.
Interviewing simply for the experience is a waste of time for everyone involved. Focus on keeping your job and that TC - it's likely to drop if you don't focus on that.
This poll is no help at all
I am ex apple and was in same boat. Took a huge tc jump and ruined my mindset. Dont do it
