Most recruiters I talk to view Bolt negatively. And after seeing this post https://www.teamblind.com/post/annoyed-with-my-career-so-far-so-i-made-a-fake-linkedin-heres-what-i-learned-rcqOpxC2, I'm considering hiding the Bolt name from my resume while leaving the experience intact.

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
Thats dumb. Theyre going to know who the fintech startup is eventually. Its what you did there that matters. Imagine someone wrote “social media company” when they worked for meta. It looks worse
Eh it would be like writing “social media company” instead of truth social. I don’t know what bolt is but their issue is they don’t want to show company name. Meta would have recruiters on them.
why is bolt seen as negative
Founder ranting on twitter and frequent layoffs
Unless OP is the founder, I don’t think recruiters care. Every company big and small, has been dysfunctional over the last 2 years. Also by that logic, former employees of Lehman Brothers should never have been employable again
Wouldn’t it show up in the background check during the offer process? Don’t regret the past, be proud!
lol it’s not like you were the reason the company fell a part, pull your head out.
Companies you list on your resume are the basis of your background check so even if you subvert the name, you'll still need to reveal it to someone in HR should they move forward. Your skills are important, not where they were gained. Bolt doesn't feed into anything where marquee experience helps, like a Disney or Goldman or a Deloitte though does it?
I thought Bolt was that Greyhound competitor, "bolt for a buck" buses.
Why do people view it negatively?
have not experienced negative view of bolt at all to be honest
Same
First question of every interview: so which startup were you at?
