Should I switch to C++ stack for better opportunities
I am working in .NET and React for last 3 years in Toronto Area. Every time I go for a .NET position, It somehow ends up in Full Stack Development. I want to keep my focus just on backend and want to build expertise in the same. I see C++ Developer getting better compensation compared to .NET Full Stack roles. What kind of well paying backend roles are looking for C++? Genuinely curious. Deal with C++ services at work but never felt there’s a big market for it beyond HFT which has a much higher bar.
I have few friends making good money in indian market.(Compared to Canadian market and considering purchasing power parity). These companies are mainly in Aerospace, Defence and Automotive Industries.
That’s a big change, seems like the main factor would be country at that point, not the programming language. If you are solely looking to make money and are flexible on location for the next few years should just go to the US on TN.
