I'd like to give it a shot! I have 7 years of experience in bootloader/fw/linux kernel. Hence I feel fairly suited to this role. However to put in the work for the interview, some reassurances would be good to have. 1. What is the TC offered for validation role in PDX? 2. Im at LVL 7 at Intel. What would that corresspond to at Apple? 3. Whats the WLB like? Currently its pretty shitty at Intel (~9hrs weekdays with sucky management) but still manageable. I'd like a lateral move when it comes to WLB not worse, even for 30% hike. And NO relocation. SFO/Seattle do not pique my interest - PDX rocks! #engineering #swe #validation
Did you have an interview already? If so, who is the hiring manager. Are you in BIOS team at intel?

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
There is no WLB. You better be ready for the sacrifice. You can do it if you are still young, no wife, no kids.
