If we count all retirement accounts and home equity? Basically if you take current market value of assets and subtract loans on it if you have any.

Not a lot, about 200k. My TC is close to 300k so I guess I should stop spending money on cars.
Wtf. How much can you spend on cars. Did you only recently join Facebook?
Yeah only 2.5 years back, I'm not in the big pre-IPO money. My TC before FB was much lower only ~150k. I also don't include retirement as I can't really touch that money.

Married but I’m sole breadwinner and only one who brought assets to the marriage—$1.5M. Worked in venture capital before non-tech GBO
I mean. This is getting a bit off topic. But what were your thoughts on the huge disparity in finances when it comes with marriage. I think it takes a lot of trust.

How? Any windfalls?
House price and Google stock. I didn't add retirement account.
How? I don't see how it's possible just from amzn job.
qEGt36 You sound like a newbie
These numbers are completely abnormal. I can’t believe they’re not made up
If you started at age of 21, 7 years back your stocks would've grown like crazy as the market went up. So it is believable to me.
Also a a lot of people who probably stay at home with parents and save a shit tone as well.
