Got an offer from Slack for LESS money but it's tempting because they can outgrow Lyft. What would you do? 2 years @ lyft $190k base $250/yr stock Slack $200k base $200k/yr stock $30 sign on bonus
Speaking with a personal bias, Lyft is doing well in a super hot market. Ipo is definitely on the horizon at some point. That’s what I would choose.
Totally agree. slack being buy out is more likely
Time to diversify
How many years of experience do you have?
I can't believe people would choose slack over Lyft with these offers...
Why?
Is that level6 at lyft? I’d make my choice based on how long you have been at lyft. The closer to 4 years the likely I’d move.
That sounds like a T5
T4
Lyft is partnered with waymo as you know. But slack does have sweet emojis.
How many years of experience?
Cash is king, both have valuations that can't properly be validated without having access to non public information. Additionally, we know how enterprise software is priced by the market but don't know how ride-sharing will be priced.
Isn’t the 409a a valuation?
This is troll
