Most companies that I know that use slack, use google meet or zoom for video calls. I like teams better
People used Microsoft products because they are forced to, not because they want to. MacOS over Windows, Quip over Word, Slack over Teams, Zoom over Skype.
Teams is cheaper because it comes along with the MSFT package
