I'm considering a role at Slack and have heard great stories about culture, empathy, etc. What's your outlook in the post-acquisition world? #slack #salesforce *edited title
They’re fucking clueless
care to elaborate?
They paid 27 billion and didn’t have any plan on how it would integrate with salesforce. They’ll probably try to pull a bunch of stupid shit into slack and run it. They want slack to be the face of salesforce which is so stupid.
Slack is one of the best companies I’ve worked at. It’s not perfect by far but there are tons of great people there. If you like what you’ve heard of the culture and that’s important to you, you’ll probably like it
So slack employees made millions?
It will probably go the way all the other acquisitions have been through. I.E. vigorous integration with Slack
have you been part of an acquired company? any input on how culture, wlb changed?
Yes. WLB remained pretty much the same, culture is hard to say, some SF engineers polluted the culture with politics.
