Slalom consultant
How is slalom consulting for consultant role? I see mixed reviews here. Is it worth joining?is there any opportunity for growth? Having second thoughts about joining here Tc 140k
Slalom has regional ownerships… will WIDELY vary based on location and team. Okay exit opportunities, not great.
I worked there few years ago, just for a few months. Got assigned shitty projects, didn't get much opportunity to prove myself either, so got treated like a junior. Not sure how it is now.
Pretty good got me. The pay is higher than in my previous workplace, a large tech. It depends on your levels. Not everyone gets a low income.
What’s your role and tc? I would be in nyc market mostly
The client are big brands and companies; FAANG also comes to us. The growth is good. Again, it depends on which market are you located. I see a good opportunity to grow and learn from other companies while doing different project.
How is the nyc market. Are you in bay area
From past posts and my interview there though many years ago, I would say they are going to pay less than market avg. Thats because of the flex time they put you on if you aren’t staffed. supposedly they won’t pay you for downtime though they still pay for benefits, unless all that has changed. If you like a job where you can travel 3 to 4 months out of the year it’s great for you.
Yes pay is very less compared to tech
