Any person has been smoking weed here (once a week let's say) for a long time? I got into it, and there is some research that supports that weed hinders brain development and makes you lose IQ. From your personal experience did this happen? I get really focused and in the zone on it (it's like ADD medications for me) and I am not sure about side effects from longtime use (not overuse, just once a week) I do experience depersonalization and derealization and feel like I'm living in a simulation sometimes. Some part of me wants to cut it off completely (and I have been off for a while) but the other part want to go buy some blunts during this pandemic. #tech #intelligence #drugs #engineering #software

I have the same paranoia but my work performance doesn’t seem to be effected. I kinda feel that I’m overthinking too much though.
Everything in moderation as they say, smoking once or twice a week to just relax and enjoy yourself is no harm at all in my opinion. You can even use dry herb vaporizers to mitigate the negative effects of smoke in your lungs. Nowadays you don't have to worry about what's in your weed since it's legalized and regulated! It becomes an issue when you feel like you need it to function in some capacity, like to fall asleep or relax after work every day. Not much different from alcohol in that sense
Weed is used to treat Epilepsy. Can you prevent it on you if you use weed regularly? If you are perfectly healthy, should you take pills every day?
I was obsessed with the thought of losing my cognitive edge to weed that I would take speed math and iq tests while stoned to check for a drop in performance. Doesn’t happen. In fact most of my best work ideas have come while stoned.
Doesn’t rule out gradual long-term decline.
Yup, the gradual long-term decline is what I am referring to.
Im taking dabs before during n after meetings
post it note over camera for maximum safety 👌
I wouldn't say it's intelligence that you lose necessarily. In my experience, I'd say it's more an awareness you lose. If you smoke too much, you get a little spaced out and short term memory becomes a little less persistent. This can impact working memory and it's harder to collect a lot of moving parts in your head and for them to retain immediate meaning. Abstract problem solving is just a bit more laborious. The good news is, if you stop smoking for a couple months, that goes away almost completely. At the same time though, it does seem to help you put dots together on tough problems when you least expect it, particularly in the twilight hours.

Is it racist to support “law and order”?
Yeah often a few lost consciousness outside the weed store in my neighborhood. That’s where they legally distribute weed and illegally distribute other stuff for people who are tired of weeds
