Snap Bellevue office
I recently got an offer from Snap and the recruiter told me the role would be based in Seattle even though I live much closer to the Bellevue office. Can I go to Bellevue office and be able to get a seat? It will save me over an hour from daily commute🥹 TC: 350 #hybrid #rto

6 times???? No. I chatted with 7 ppl for team matching tho
I had a recruiter screen and an initial interview and have 4 calls left with 4 people. maybe they screen extra carefully for law enforcement team
also they let me pick out of palo alto, LA etc

You could ask, but there's not enough capacity in the bellevue office right now, so they've been strict about sesttle people working in bellevue. They're working to expand and later in the year there should be another floor opening. If your manager is in bellevue though you should be fine, but I assume they're not given your location is Seattle. Good luck!

Thank you! My manager is in LA, so he doesn’t care about which office I go to. I asked the recruiter who said he would need to check if it is feasible, so I guess most likely I will have to go to Seattle. Thank you!

Doesn’t matter. You just go in, find a drop in desk or sit in any unmarked cubicles/lounge areas and get the work done. No one cares even which office, except HR just tracks the badges

For now maybe you can pick the closest office. Though, leadership wants teams to be located in the same space soon
Keep in mind, the reason you can't officially be assigned to Bellevue is that it's at capacity, so it will be crowded when you drop in. But no one cares which office you go to as long as you are badging in and connected to the corporate WiFi
