snap $118b ibm $121b snap revenue: $2.5b ibm revenue: $73b maybe snap is the real deal! rip to IBM shareholders. it must hurt having a battleship of a company with 300k+ employees and get passed up by a photo chat app. is this justified? 🤔 TC 277
Snap is catching up and almost surpassing Starbucks market cap which is even more mind blowing
and will pass Target any day now!
IBM is a dead company and its current supposed trump card is a for-profit which lost its identity a long time ago and resorts to telling its more ambitious employees that “kulcha” matters more than money when they get packages that are literally twice what they offer. Go figure.
true, growth phase is over, and revenue growth is even losing to inflation - but should snapchat be worth more?
I think so, yes. If they crack emerging markets and monetise effectively (clicks there are worth a lot less rn), Snapchat has literally hundreds of millions at its disposal. You’re looking at Facebook levels of growth if they do it right. IBM’s idea of showing green on the balance sheet is selling off loss making bits of itself. It needs to be put out of its misery. Only surviving so far because a lot of its clients are the kind who can’t fathom change.
Snap is teenage girls nude photo sharing app isnt it?
it also pays really well for swe
Time to short SNAP
What is IBM even doing now? Vision quest to find out how the fuck to stay relevant in 2021? After splitting off it’s one “viable” cloud competitor? Yeah. Snap has way more upside. Lol. Still, I’m sure IBM could be run by a team of lawyers selling, leasing, or licensing patents and stay afloat for a century.
They’re busy convincing people that mainframes are relevant and that a 4 billion dollar subsidiary justifies their existence.

SNAP is a bubble waiting to be burst.
IBM is a whale on a beach.
Agree about the IBM. Snap is a pandemic stock and will have a spectacular fall by mid 2022. I am Short on SNAP.
ibm has been dead for a long time
