Snapchat product is getting worse by the day. Is it just me or are people deleting it permanently? Perhaps it’s an age thing (I’m 34). I’ve had 5 friends delete it within the last couple months. Others have turned off notifications and they don’t open snaps for 1 week. The ads for videos come on every 20 seconds. You watch 20 seconds and have to put up with 5 seconds of garbage ads. TC: 387k pre crash — not an SDE like everyone here. Edit 1: I’m genially curious on the public thoughts. None of my family members or close friends use it any longer hence I can’t ask them. Considering deleting as I don’t see value.
Lol, I tried to watch a video. They literally tried to force me to watch one 5s ad for every 10s of shit content.
Never installed it
If you swipe down to minimize, you can skip any ad
For every person over 30 that uninstalls we get 2 people under 20 to install. I don't know if that's a good thing or not but *shrug*
I don’t think 34yo are the target audience for Snapchat. I’ve never used it.
Have you considered that maybe you are not the target demographic?
Like we are taught to say - “you’re not the target audience!”.
Are you guys still doing the fake push notifications to bait people to open the app to claim higher DAU right before earnings..?
Deleted Snap looooong ago.
Never used and never will
I deleted it in like 2015.
