I got layed off February 6 and I recall from HR meeting that severance was 4 months. But I only received the first 2 months lump payment. Checking the severance agreement I was too stupid to read at the time it actually says 2 months of salary + 2 months of COBRA premiums. Am I a fool that got bamboozled by the verbal “4 months”? Any other ex-snap bro can chime in? #snap #layoff
What the !!
Isn’t it 2 months warn notice period + 2 months severance lumpsum = 4 months ?
Oh Snap!
For those who got 4 months, was it all upfront or split into installments?
They paid 4 month lump sum base + COBRA premium all at once + 2 months RSU, then next month in March the other 2 months, assuming you signed the agreement
Yeah it's pretty clear. 2 months up front, then a follow up 2 month if you signed the separation agreement.
