There are so many exciting things to pursue to try and learn, such as: blogging, writing ebooks, quantum computers and their programming (IBM Q cloud service), quantum physics, learning artificial intelligence (AI/ML/DL), anticipating new tech, learning algorithms, crunching Leetcode, creating new businesses, creating a new blog platform, learning react.js or flutter or next.js, creating mobile apps, learning more C++ which I use at work, working more hours at Google and getting involved in 20% projects, making Youtube videos, learning more about system design and writing about it. Create a new SaaS business. I feel torn in so many directions. I don't know what to use in my free time with something I won't regret. I used to play games, but I feel like I'm losing my time and would like to do something more productive, ideally something that can help other people. I want to become Financially Independent (FIRE) in 10 years, so ideally, I'd like to make money on the side as well.
You have spoken my mind
Weird flex
But ok
If you want to FIRE yourself, then you can throw out most of that list. Focus on creating the business. The rest of it is interesting but won't bring in any money. Learning skills could be valuable to leverage later, but it might not be necessary at this stage.
Bullshit advice
How do you figure !Shakira ? If he wants happiness, he should learn physics and write another ebook. But that wasn't the outcome he sa8d he desired. He says money was his primary concern. I personally think chasing money with all of your spare time isn't worth it, but that was his question.
Learn business analysis, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, put your savings in equity markets and FIRE in 10 years
Write every single thing you mentioned down on a piece of paper. Cross them out one by one until you only have one or two left. Stick with those. If after a few months you don't like what you've chosen, then rinse and repeat.
Op, I feel the same! I think this is the paradox of choice.
