SoFi Mortgage Layoffs?
I started a home purchase last year and had pretty good service with SoFi. Now I am getting towards close and don't get call backs or emails back sometimes for days if at all. Are there layoffs, pay cuts or other morale destroyers at SoFi that could be causing this?

Only 25% of mortgages close on time. They are severely understaffed

I wonder if there is a mortgage company today that isn't understaffed. When if you called you would get a call back same day. When you didn't have to do all the leg work yourself to close the mortgage on time.
They appear to have a layoff culture so it’s possible.
