Hi everyone, So far, i have received an internship at SoFi and have final interviews for Nerdwallet and Credit Karma soon. However both nerdwallet and credit karma missed the scheduled call LOL so im debating if its even worth continuing at this point. My rescheduled calls are next week. I am fairly confident i have a good chance of doing well on the interviews! To me, i dont really need to take the pay into consideration as i will be using this internship experience solely for career growth and for better resume for new grad recruiting next year (hopefully to faang) My priority is how much the experience will buff up my resume! SoFi: -san fran location (my preferred) -50/hr, 5000 relocation stipend -3.1 blind rating??? :( Nerdwallet: -remote -looks like 40/hr on levels.fyi? Credit Karma: -Charlotte, NC -looks like 36-45 on levels.fyi? -pretty good blind rating All inputs are appreciated. Thank you :) #sofi #nerdwallet #creditkarma
I’d go to SoFi
any reason why? i was also leaning towards sofi
It’s in person and pays well. That’s about it.
NerdWallet because they seem to be selective about their interns and genuinely want to provide the best experience possible. Not too big, not too small. Just enough room for exploration! I may or may not be a NerdWallet simp, but that’s my real two cents!
It would be more compelling if they were in person but im just kind of skeptical on how much experience i could really get from a remote internship :( but thank you for your input - i will definitely take it under consideration!
I'd go for onsite over remote. I think you'll likely get more face to face time and learn more.
I definitely agree, which is why i have been really thinking between SoFi and Credit Karma, leaning a bit towards SoFi especially for its location
Awesome, solid mindset to optimize for learning. I don't know the companies so can't give input there, good luck!
