Very hard to get an exception.
Absolutely not
Workday has always allowed some remote work, it totally depends on the role, and on how bad they want you. Currently remote is hugely political and much more difficult to get than prepandemic, but it has never been fully embraced by the company.
Yeah it’s POSSIBLE there are plenty of like people who have been here since pre ipo that are “remote” but they usually have a disability or some sort of child issue. In todays market I highly doubt we’d allow a new employee to negotiate full remote unless they’re like a mega genius and willing to get paid 🥜
Yes, I noticed that on LinkedIn and those people don't live close to Workday office.
Someone you know LOL. It’s ok bro
You are free to think what you want and decide the gender of ther person who posted it.
Yqst40 couldn't possibly know if it's you vs your friend. Not sure why they are acting like am presumptuous douche
Certain orgs can allow. If you know the org I can say if it’s possible or impossible.
I think it’s an easier sell if you are able to commute to a workday office even if your team is located some place else. Harder to get 100% remote , easier to live in a place closer to a wday office
Thank you everyone who took time to respond to my question.

I have a friend that’s a recruiter there. They highly discourage remote work. Your friend can ask their recruiter about it, but an exception isn’t easy to get from what I’ve heard.
In this market she is afraid to negotiate and shoot herself in the foot. No team assignment as she's still thinking about the offer. Thought I'd post here and support her. I don't have offer details
