Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
Comparing Sonos to speakers from Klipsch like the fives, I don’t think Sonos even hold a candle to them. Who do these products serve and why are they so damn expensive? TC: $450K USD
Klipsch makes sound bars?
Sonos sound quality is decent but the ecosystem and app are differentiators. Kinda like an iPhone - works really well, supports airplay, can sync to all other Sonos speakers in the house and play music. Their home theater soundbar setup is one of the best
For people who have very, very little space or can’t handle the complexity of putting the red wire into the red jack.
Honestly convenience. I tried getting into audio hardware as a hobby. It just wasn’t my thing. I can appreciate good sounding audio, but I have just too many other hobbies to focus on. So I got Sonos because it’s good enough and easy to setup and maintain. It’s really no different than why people stream audio or video for that matter, vs blue-ray and CDs/vinyl. Sometimes good is good enough
Sonos is easy to use. Really well made, from a tech perspective. The sound quality isn’t great but most people don’t perceive the differences or care about it even if they do.
Their products aren’t meant to be future proof and software updates only works up to a certain amount of time. Most likely when their new product line comes out to force you to purchase their latest and greatest in order to receive updates.
They sounds great to people who dont know much about good audio
This is what I was thinking too. Their products also look very aesthetic.
