Google search business model, YouTube & GMaps acquisitions have been so good for such a long time that they have obfuscated the fact that Google is actually not innovating and is in fact spectacularly bad at creating and scaling new products. Bard is pretty embarrassing. What is going on internally? It looks pretty bad from the outside.
They haven't been able to make a successful product in the last 10 years. All their products get axed. Terrible leadership
I still like Google but agree their leadership needs to do some serious self reflection. Page and Brin are way better.
Incredibly wasteful, lazy non-urgency everywhere in Google because ad revenue is underwriting everything.
Name one single Google hardware device that isn't doing well? Thought so idiot
Let me turn this around, which device is doing well compared to competition?
Zendesk: Stadia and Glass were recently canned, Nest and Fitbit are struggling. Pixel has good YoY growth but who knows if it ever gets good market share/profitability
I think Bard is as good as GPT-3. Just ask it “TC or GTFO” and see what it replies. Also ask ChatGPT the same question and see it’s response.
😂
Did you consider this question from a diversity and inclusion lens, and how search results will affect and represent marginalized communities of color?
New products? Try actively declining flagship products, especially Maps.
