Hi peeps, I'm wondering what's your thoughts on the future of spotify? Will it grow, will it disappear? Is it going to expand beyond audio streaming? Thanks TC: 325k
Acquired or merger imo
Interesting... by who do you think? Amazon?
Can't be Amazon, incompatible cultures.
Spotify is here to stay but as a business it’s not that attractive
Low barrier to entry. Though I admire Spotify I cannot work for it just due to high risk low reward
Low reward… compared to Capital One???
Yes.
Will survive and keep the dominance but music industry in general needs a new business model to keep thriving.

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
It holds the market dominance and I don’t think it will go away anytime soon. It has the largest network of artists, podcast etc. IMO spotify will remain the champion of audio streaming like Google is the champion of search engine.
Interesting, so in your opinion youtube music has no chance of taking over?
I think youtube music is a slight different segment. If we have to compare the same sectors, it would be Apple music, Amazon music etc.
