Spotify has been trying to gobble up a ton of Sports IP exclusively on their platform for about 6 months now, should continue for a year or so. They see it as a real growth vertical, so paying the ESPNs/NFLs of the world a lot for exclusive content, similar to what Facebook did in 2018-19 Obviously Ringers podcasts are a big match, not sure how long they will keep that editorial operation going. Between the recent Athletic 500M valuation, the 450M Barstool acquisition, Ringer to Spotify deal, and even the complete loss of Sports Illustrated for the most part...a lot going on in that landscape
