The title says the problem statement. My spouse was an engineering manager with a fintech before the lay off. Spouse is amazing in the work and I’m not saying because I’m the partner but I do respect the way my partner used to work. Unfortunately the job market is not being helpful and this is affecting everything at home. H1B visa holder currently in H4 MS from good school Great leadership skills Amazing parent of a toddler What I want from you: -> Source to earn money on H4 (reliable) -> Source to find job for resume to reduce the increasing gap of employment -> Any feedback/suggestion that may support the partner to get a new job. Wow Google explains so much about you and your generation. I would rather fight with the partner for better life than find another partner.

Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
Couldn’t find anything in 9 months? Im guessing your standards are unrealistically high for current market. If you are actually serious about finding work, take a heavily downleveled IC role
Spouse don’t have confidence in clearing IC roles and thus targeting EM or Product manager roles
If you have no chance of clearing IC interview for any level, maybe this is the wrong industry for you. Just saying. I mean think about it, wouldn’t it be sort of ridiculous if your EM cannot perform as mid level IC?
