How long square takes to get back after final rounds ? It’s been 4 days already does it mean it’s a no ? #square #block
If they are interviewing other candidates and waiting to see which one to move forward, it'll take time. Happened to me. Was told to wait a week but heard back later to hear they moved on with another candidate
It was radio silent after final interview even recruiter didn’t replied of the follow up I did yesterday. Guess I wait it down no other option
How do you think your interview went? We’re you able to solve all problems?
From my experience, they’re finishing up final loops with other candidates or they already have a candidate they prefer and are trying to close. The good news is that if they fail to close you tend to have a stronger position in negotiations.
If they are waiting for other candidate interviews to be done does it mean I was not strong enough in interviews ? Or they are just respectful for other candidates time who were in pipeline.
It's not that you weren't strong enough. If there's another candidate who is their first choice, and you're their second, or nth, then it's just that. You're both/all strong enough, but there's still a ranking in terms of who fits what they're looking for better, in whatever capacity or context. This is going to be true in every job application, so don't let it get to you =] You're doing great, and like someone else said, if you do somehow find out there was someone ahead of you who turned it down, you can probably use that somewhat as leverage when negotiating.
Took me a week to get my interview feedback, then spent another week team matching
Probably just waiting on someone's interview feedback, don't read into it
What does it mean if they are waiting for other candidate’s interview to be done ? Does it mean not getting strong signals from me to extend offer or just to be respectful towards other candidates time
It could just literally be one of the people who interviewed you hasn't done the writeup yet. Don't read into it. Sorry your recruiter has not been transparent with you, they shouldn't leave you in the dark that long but I wouldn't say it's a bad sign
What role was it for?
How many rounds and what sort of interview was it for each? Also have they gotten back to you? How did it go??
Any update OP?
Any update? :)
How did you get the interview?
Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn
How were the coding interviews? Leetcode style?
