Hi everyone, happy holidays! I had my phone screen a couple weeks ago and heard back right away that it went pretty well. I thought it was a wonderful way to interview someone! I have the on-site interviews coming up on Friday (3x Pair Program, System Design, Past Tech) and am wondering if the Pair Programming will be similar to the first one? I’m trying to brush up more on graphs, trees, and tries for the most part but starting to get anxious. How should I prep this last week? Really want to work at Square. TC : $120K YOE: 2.5
In addition to above, remember that in general completeness is more important than anything else. Focus first and foremost on getting working code.
Hey, I'm looking to apply for a frontend role in Square Toronto. Could you help me with that. Thanks 😊
Good luck!
Op, how did the interview go ?
I think it went pretty well, but I haven’t heard back yet, so now I’m second guessing lol. But the technical interviews were very similar to the tech screening
Good luck OP! Don’t overthink, even though the wait game is hard. Btw, I have a couple of questions. Can I DM you ?

How to be content in life?
Each of the coding interviewers comes up with their own question so it’s variable. You won’t be asked anything that requires deeper CS data structures / background so those are the right areas to focus. Build first and explain any trade offs as you make them — do not optimize for large scale unless your interviewer asks (not common). Read about the team(s) that you’re interviewing for ahead of time, if known. Bring questions that are more thoughtful than “what do you enjoy about working here”. The interview is for you to make sure it’s a good fit too. Spend a little bit of time prepping for questions about your past projects too. Good luck! It’s less painful than most places that I’ve interviewed because the interviewers will always help nudge you in the right direction
Wow thank you so much, this was so helpful!
Hey @mshsrck, mind if I DM you for a couple quick questions?
