Sr. Engineer at Target vs Data Scientist at Walmart
Hello people at blind, Please help me decide which one I should choose: Target- Sr. Engineer (work is mostly around dealing with data science problems) TC: 140k It’s been 3 months now in Target. Liking the work so far. Walmart- Data scientist III, TC: 180k. Should I stay at Target for at least year or 2 or should I move to Walmart? The position at Walmart starts 3 months from now. #data #datascience
Move to Walmart, you will get better opportunities from there.

What location did you get the Walmart offer from?
It’s Hoboken, NJ.
I love Target but speaking from experience, the raises are minimal and it could take years to get up to the $180k to match Walmart.

What's your TC breakdown at Target? Surprised that Walmart pays 20-30% higher than Target.
