Stack Overflow app no longer available on app store
What was the rationale behind this decision? Not that I was using it to post questions or search for answers, but it was definitely useful for notifications when someone would answer my question. I think the app could have been improved instead of being discontinued.

Not enough folks to keep it alive. Weโve had two rounds of layoffs this year and some voluntary departures as well. Team is spread very thin. Appreciate the interest though, will let others know.
Maintenance maybe? Since a large majority of users are on the web platform.
Maybe. But I think the app could have been better and hence attracted more mobile traffic
