Staff Data Scientist vs. Data Science Manager TC
Does anyone know if data science manager TC (let's say M1 level) is similar to staff data scientist (analytics) TC assuming the same YOE? If not, what does the typical range looks like nowadays for these roles in the Bay Area? YOE 6, TC 280k #data #dataanalytics #datascience

That's insane, TC for L5 data scientist (analytics) is like 350k-400k. So going from L5 to L6 doubles your TC?
Analytics might be lower, but DS with PHD should get the same as SWE, and with staff eng, 600 should be lower end
