Anyone know how long SCB takes to release an offer? Went through a marathon interview process and they said the want to make an offer. HR asked for a bunch of documents and said it will take 2 weeks to issue an offer. I'm getting close to 2 weeks and no word. Anyone have experience with SC or other banks in Singapore and how long they actually take for an offer? laid off - no TC #Standard Chartered #Singapore #Banks
Do you mind sharing your YOE and their offer number? If you don't want it to be public, I can DM
12 years. Passed interviews but they are doing internal approval process before issuing the offer.
Hey! SCB here. SCB takes time to release the offer. Just be patient, since the timeline of 2 weeks is not overdue. After two weeks just check with your recruiter to get an update. Feel free to DM me.
Thanks. HR reached out yesterday to verify some elememts of my prior salary. The guy tried to get me to reveal my salary expectation but I was able to push back and avoid revealing after some back and forths. I did, however, give him some qualitative indicators to set a tone for expectations. He's taking it to the HM and said I will expect to hear back next weak. In my case, yesterday was right on 2 weeks. Given HM's indication of timeline to me, I suspect the HR guy was dragging his feet a little.
Did you get laid off from which company? What’s your SCB band?
