If you had a choice to have either only Stanford vs Google on resume throughout your career, what would you choose? What carries more weight, prestige?
I have both, but I get more calls for interviews now that I have G on my resume
cause 2>1
Neither. Who cares?
Experience > education
Keep yourself deluded
Why deluded? Seems pretty accurate
IIT carries more prestige.
Which side would you prefer, left or right?
One pays you while you pay the other one? Pretty obvious choice.
Are you the same dude who was freaking out because he works at Google and his wife works at Stanford, and he was worried her job was more prestigious? If so, honestly just get a divorce or therapy because this canโt be healthy for either of you. I also notice you left out the details this time because last time everyone said your wife was more prestigious ๐
๐ I thought he ment studying at Stanford.
If you suck in your interview none of that matters
Depends what degree from Stanford.
Masters in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CSRE) from Stanford is hot ๐ฅ nowadays https://exploredegrees.stanford.edu/schoolofhumanitiesandsciences/comparativestudiesinraceandethnicitycsre/
What matters to you Mars? Go with that
Indian op spotted. The only nation/culture that is obsessed with prestige.
Asia + Eastern Europe too
Nope! Indians leave all of us eating their dust when it comes to chasing prestige. They are consumed by their lack of self-confidence to a point that they constantly need to get reassurances from the society that they're worthy. Its a very sad trait of the Indian culture, which has a lot of good sides to it.
