Does Starbucks have an office in Bay Area? If not, have you been asked to relocate? #returntooffice
Laxman has led in actual, grown-up companies before; whatever his position on WFH, he must also get that teams and organizations can be globally distributed. Or maybe I am just being optimistic. 🤷
I would like to agree with you as well, but I am concerned due to how old school the companies are that he came from. I have low hopes that the guy will actually change the wfh policy once Howie is out. Seems like him and the rest of the ELT was in agreement over the decision, but I truly hope I am wrong 😅
My prediction, fwiw, is that they will expand regional offices to accommodate more partners and extend the 3-day RTO to fully remote personas as well.
There’s an office somewhere in SF but if is largely store development (real estate, construction, concept design, facilities). Others in the area work remote (if the position is approved to do so). To my knowledge no tech roles are out of this office.
The position is remote. But given the announcement I wanted to know if it’s still going to be remote or are you asked to move to Seattle?
So far remote folks aren’t being asked to relo. 71 more days of Howard … so who knows what that out of touch assclown will decide when he sees everyone in the office is there but on teams calls.
