I received an offer from a series A startup with less than 50 employees. They offered 1,500 shares for an Enterprise Account Executive role. Is this a low ball? What amount of equity should one receive at series A with less than 2 million shares outstanding in ESOP
There is 2 million shares available left
What's the valuation?
That’s 0.075% of the company. What is the post money valuation? I don’t know your situation, but for me that is 🥜
Low ball (kinda like the ball can’t go lower any more)😉
Thanks for the input
Valuation of the company is $50 million and looking to raise series B 6-8 months out. They raised series A for $20 million in March of 2021
Are you being paid cash bonus though?
Yeah
Why don’t you ask for part equity part cash - if you believe in the company?

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Impossible to say. Need to know total shares of the company (or IOW, the percentage of ownership that 1500 shares amounts to)
