I am entering my final round with State Farm for their Junior Software Engineer (AWS) position. The interview will be with a team, where they will ask behavioral-based questions and technical questions. How should I prepare for the technical questions? #statefarm #interview #softwareengineer
How much would State Farm pay for software engineers? Is it more than Docusign?
You'll interview with the team manager and skip. I'm guessing the technical questions are just quick fire explanations like what is a Lambda and what is a promise in javascript. Honestly the easiest interview ever compared to tech companies. Pay is comparable to banks like jpmc, Citi. No RSUs. All SWEs recently got a 10% market raise too.
All got a 10% market raise? I don’t think so. What grade level are you?
Sorry, I meant the lower level folks. The "market raise" was when they relabeled our title from Software Developer to Software Engineer and moved us to the RE track. I'm RE2/P5 and my raise was around 10%. I think the old 3s and 4s were both reassigned RE3 so not sure if the 4s got raises.
what team are you interviewing with? My team is hiring so I wonder if it's the same
Are you the interviewer? 👀
It doesn’t say, just the position that I’m interviewing for
Run away don't work at State Farm
Lmaooooo why
Did you have to do a HireVue interview for this position? How was it? What questions were asked?
I will have same interview next week. If someone can share recent info will be helpful.
I did the hirevue interview.
HireVue live or the interactive one? The live is coming for me with 4-5 person.
I also have the same HireVue interview for the Entry Level Software Engineer (AWS) position. They mentioned there is one coding challenge as well. For this AWS role what coding challenge was asked , if you can share?
Working with datasets - comparing datasets and performing analysis
How many rounds of interviews are there in total? I'm barely making it to the preliminary interview round after the fully digital one
Hi, can you please share the interview experience with the team? For the technical part, did they ask coding questions or just AWS related questions?
