So many benefits. - First of all, if you can make it to around 10 years they don't expect you to do work anymore. - The longer tenure the less likely managers target you for PIP - In the job market you have an advantage over job hoppers because you are seen as stable. The world is not fair and you should play the game.
How to tell me you have < 3 YoE without telling me.
Lol my former manager got laid off after 34 years at the company 😅
Yeah, but that is the point. He held on that long.
He had a good run. How long did you stay until you got laid off?
Yeah Right!!! Thats not true. I have seen tenured people ( YOE >= 10 ) being LO in this job market.
what is LO?
Laughed On for staying that long at one company.
That's not true. The salary won't be increased much as well as, and, the so called MNC's will fire them whenever they want
Lulumemo, you are promoting polygamy in relationships and monogamy at work in two threads. 😂
I just made another great post. Check it out.
that’s the power of focus! by keeping a job constant he has more time for poly!
Dumbest advice on Blind
In this job market, hiring managers will instantly reject yo if you’ve been at the same company for 6+ years.. Especially at a startup company
Are you a hiring manager?
Why tho?
PIPwise worked with 14 years Amazonian manager who barely escaped PIP
This is total bullshit. During LinkedIn's layoffs in October LOTS of 10 year Staffs who were coasting or working on dubious projects were let go. In the job market it is a liability as you will be seen as complacent and out of touch.
They have an advantage in the job market because 10 years of laziness will be attractive to future employers.
Okay you're a troll
