Stay or leave?
TC 130k. I feel bored more days than I thought. There's enough to do, but often working in a vacuum on data and I want to do more strategy. Priorities of my projects not that clear and so although projects are very high impact, the lack of resourcing has reduced my scope until priorities become clearer. I didn't negotiate so even with 5 YOE, I feel I'm underpaid and could get more at a different company. All that said, I have been there a year and could probably get a promo with title change within one more year. Don't love the timeline as I think my managers feedback doesn't match up (feedback is great, things to improve on shouldn't take a year). Stay or leave?
why not shop around and see? with 5 YOE other employers might assume youâre getting more comp than you are, and if you can get a couple offers you can make a jump comp wise

Program manager. I know I can do better, but I've learned so much in the last year and would love for that to be reflected in promo before I move on.
Are you trying to stay as program manager? If youre looking for outside opportunity, why not start prepping for it? Sounds like your managers not promising you anything, so it could take years, and by that time itd be hard to let go of your later vests
Would it hurt my trajectory to leave a FANG after 1 year without promo?
