Been working at ebay for 8 years now. So far it’s going good. Should I try for a new job or stay put? Job is fully remote.

Not the right market to switch
If you're happy with your manager team and wlb and don't need immediate cash then don't switch. Companies are making people work much harder after laying off some staff. Stay put and enjoy the holidays.
Switch jobs right when the market has about 500 000 jobless tech workers because of unprecedented mass layoffs? Sure! Why not?

Assume you will get fired from the your first job hop. I’m mentally prepared that way. Amount of non productive work we do is insane.

Well it’s not bad actually…I got an offer from them $330K (including bonus) + $50K joining bonus for 10 yoe
