If you're new stay away from options and stick to the basics for a couple years. Long positions on Index, blue chip/faang/maga stocks
Why maga ?
Maga = Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Apple 1) They're the largest companies in the US 2) they all have had good returns in the last 5 years 3) they're still leaders in their markets with very low risk of significantly underperforming
