Strategies For Attaining Influence?
I’d like to attain more influence/power in my company. I see certain folks who have the ears of higher ups, and always get the best projects. I’m curious how they got all these perks am wondering, how can I also attain power/influence in my org? I feel like doing a good job on what I’m tasked with isn’t enough....
Be seen as an expert is your chosen field. Speak from a place of knowledge. Make bold statements and then follow up. Provide answers to questions that haven’t been asked yet. Act like an owner and you will be treated like an owner
Lol, you really think this is what influence is. Which the above is necessary, but not suffcient.
@zzz feel free to enlighten me further. Also, I think my answer is fair. Are you trying to influence leaders? Or are you trying to influence sheep? I believe my answer is good for the prior. If you’re trying to influence sheep then engage in politics and stealing credit.
