Stripe - New Grad RTO/WFH/Office Switch

Got a new grad SWE offer from Stripe, but not in preferred location. Wondering: 1) When will Stripe return to office? Seems like most people remote right now. 2) Once return to office, what is WFH policy like? Team dependent? 3) How likely to switch offices, or go fully remote, as a new grad - a couple of months or year in? TC: $290k #returntooffice #hybrid #stripe

Irrelevant to your question since I don't work at stripe.... But how is your TC 290 for new grad?!?

I thought Stripe's new grad offer is 286k and non-negotiable.

Try @ing Stripe in your post, you currently have a bunch of thirsty Amazon engineers without much advice. Given the flexibility of remote at Stripe, it will probably be team dependent. Switching locations would require switching teams unless youre remote. Switching teams would be based on business need; I.e if your team isn’t experiencing as much load as the team you want to be in.

1. Sometime early next year hubs will begin opening but they are still figuring out the hybrid model. If you joined as remote you will remain remote. 2. Again, if you joined as remote you will remain remote. If you joined a hub and want to transition, there are processes in place involving discussing with your manager. WFH is very flexible, IIRC nearly 50% of stripes are 100% remote and won't go back to an office. Now, as a new grad, remote is not an option. You must be L2+ I believe to be eligible for remote, so you better grinding if that's your goal
