I had a few interviews for a role at Stripe recently and the team decided not to move forward. I see a few other roles that I am interested in, so I'd love to interview again. I think it's the SQL squash round that got me eliminated, especially since it was my first time doing a bug squash in an interview; I wasn't sure how to prep for it and what to expect. I verbally explained my thought process and certain checks to perform, but I could have managed my time better with a bit more structure. Anyone from Stripe (or those who successfully interviewed) willing to share advice for passing the bug squash round? #stripe
I did but my offer got reneged last year 😣
Oh ugh, sorry to hear that 😕 In your interview, did you do the squash in SQL or a different language?
Java, I was given a problem to find bug in json library.
Stripe is a dumpster fire of a company id take an offer anywhere else. They fire people based on seniority to save money. Have a weird cult like community that thinks their work matters in the same space as cancer research. Taking payments online isnt some revolutionary concept…
I didn’t get an offer haha, but would want to interview again. Are you a former employee, know people there, or have interviewed there in the past? I’m curious why you have a low impression of the company
Good friends with 2 former employees that worked there for a long time. I also interviewed previously to knowing them and got the same impression. Its a really odd company.

Hi, looking for HR/recruiter connections for some roles which are of interest, would greatly appreciate any assist in finding a contact. All the best in your search too.
I’m on the data side, so my tech screen was on SQL. I’m assuming you’re a SWE? Our interviews might be formatted differently if we’re in different roles (not sure though)
