Can you add Stripe’s refresher rate? It’s a determining factor since it’s base equity, doesn’t require a refresher to keep even pay after 4 years, and refreshers can be treated as bonus
My understanding (recently received an offer there, have not worked there yet), is that their new equity policy, while criticized by Blind, is in perpetuity. So the yearly stock grant mentioned in your offer letter is given to you on a yearly basis. So you lose out on some initial grant that can grow insanely for 4 years, but you have the assurance that you'll be given equity as long as you work here. It was implied that there are "bonus" refreshers for high performers, but I can't speak to that as I only know what I was told by my recruiter and it wasn't included in my offer letter.
Excellent offer, congratulations 😊 Assuming it's SWE?
Yes and thank you!
Agreed, this is a pretty good offer. I also only negotiated the signing bonus. Congrats!
Amazing offer for 3yoe and Austin. Care to share your interview experience?
Would like to know the same. I’m thinking of applying there myself
Not OP but interview experience is fun, not really Leetcode, and Leetcode doesn't really prepare you. Their interview is most "real-world" that I have encountered. You get tested on your ability to build an extensible component, integrate with an API, identify bugs in an unfamiliar code base. The best practice I got was... working at a company where I did those things. Leetcode helped a bit for building the component, but every comment was explaining that I could do it more efficiently, I would just need a library that my language didn't support (maybe I have Leetcode-PTSD).
