You cannot liquidate money invested on EquityZen until the startup goes public. Only after 6 months post IPO can you sell your shares. Most startups lose their value after IPO. Compare their revenue growth rate, years to achieve profit, and past stock prices at EquityZen events. If the share price is growing, there is a scope for a growth rate > 50%, and you can hold the stock for more than 5 years, then you can think about buying it.

Block (SQ) is valued at $41 Billion. There’s no way stripe is worth 1.65x of Block. I would rather buy Block.
