Here's my dilemma: I've been working remotely for the past four years, and lately, I've been feeling bored and demotivated. I crave real-time interactions and the energy of working alongside others. But here's the catch: opting for a hybrid position means adding 3-4 hours of commuting to my day for 2 days a week. It's a tough call! What's your take on this? Any advice or experiences to share? #WFHvsHybrid #RemoteWorkStruggles ๐ ๐ #hybrid #remotework #wfh
3-4 hours of commuting per day or per week? No way am I signing up for 4 hours of commute per day. Look for closer hybrid, or move closer.
Iโd do the hybrid, thereโs no replacement for the in-person work social gain
There are literally infinite replacements that aren't tied to at-will employment.
I voluntarily go to office 3-4 days a week. my commute is 2 buses of 45 mins-1hr. in person work can be very productive and enjoyable. it all depends on your team
Use those 4 hours to start a hobby that gets you out of the house.
